IT Associate

Location: Bahrain

Main Accountabilities:

  1. Point of Contact for IT Queries: Act as the primary point of contact for all IT-related queries, providing timely and effective support to all company users.
  2. Networking Issue Resolution: Proactively troubleshoot and resolve networking issues to ensure seamless connectivity for all users.
  3. ERP Expertise:
    • Demonstrate excellent knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics D365/O365.
    • Manage ERP software data migration, transition, and user training.
  4. ERP System Management:
    • Oversee the management of the ERP system, documenting changes and training end-users to ensure adherence to company procedures.
    • Provide functional and technical solutions for ERP customizations based on operational requirements.
  5. ERP Implementation Liaison: Collaborate with the ERP implementation team, effectively communicating end-user feedback for continuous process improvements.
  6. Hardware/Software Management:
    • Utilize extensive experience in hardware/software-related roles.
    • Maintain IT asset and inventory management.
  7. Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Keep abreast of emerging trends in software development practices and tooling to ensure the company remains innovative and competitive.
  8. Project Management:
    • Effectively manage workloads and projects with changing priorities.
    • Generate industry-standard outputs such as status reports, risk assessments, and estimates.
  9. Additional Duties: Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Microsoft certified in Dynamics NAV/BC 365 (preferred).
  • Proficiency in software development methodologies and practices.
  • Expertise in enterprise integration.
  • Proficiency in related technologies such as Microsoft Stack, Office 365, SSRS, SSIS, SharePoint, Microsoft Azure, and Power BI (Essential).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage support incidents effectively.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Project management experience with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Leadership skills to supervise and coach junior staff and external suppliers.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in software development.
